The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college in South Carolina, and the largest unit of the University of South Carolina. With 22 core academic disciplines and 41 interdisciplinary programs, centers, institutes, and schools, it is the academic heart of the University.

COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND COMPUTING

The College of Engineering and Computing, founded in 1894, is the college of the future. The school is committed to an excellent education for each student through an abundance of research opportunities and close interaction with professors. The school has recently established itself as a leader in the emerging fields of biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, and nuclear engineering.

Since its inception in the 1940s and national accreditation in 1957, more than 6,000 nurses have matriculated from this College. SC College of Pharmacy

The South Carolina College of Pharmacy was established in 2004 as a partnership between the University of South Carolina and the Medical University of South Carolina. This partnership combines the resources available at a large comprehensive university and a major academic medical center to create a statewide pharmacy school that gives students broader access to experts and increased training opportunities.

School of Law

The University of South Carolina School of Law enjoys a rich and venerable tradition as one of the nation’s oldest law schools.
