Making A Difference At Carolina
The Family Fund, University of South Carolina's annual faculty and staff campaign, allows current and former employees to become even more engaged in their professional roles. Since its inception nearly 40 years ago, the Family Fund has generated more than $50 million for Carolina. Gifts through the Family Fund support ground-breaking research, strengthen programs and initiatives, recruit and develop world-class faculty and fund scholarships.
YOUR gift matters!
Your participation through the Family Fund makes an immediate impact. Your gift demonstrates the ultimate vote of confidence in all of our university stands for and everything it will become.
Departments who increase their participation from last year by 10% or more, or achieve 100% participation by Oct. 30, 2015, will have a chance to win a pizza lunch. All qualifying departments will be placed in a drawing to win one of our five pizza lunch give-a-ways for participating donors. In addition, all donors will receive their very own Family Fund tumbler featuring our beloved mascot.
Why should faculty and staff make a family fund gift?
The University of South Carolina counts on annual gifts as the foundation for all other giving, and private support is the difference between being average and being excellent. Such gifts ensure the momentum continues and that students are able to fulfill their dream of becoming Carolina graduates. As faculty and staff, we have the opportunity to enhance our professional development while also making a difference in the lives of students in and out of the classroom.
